MEDNAX CREQS launches new cloud-based continuing education platform

Just as health care is an ever-evolving industry, so too is the education of health care professionals. The dynamic nature of medicine means health care providers are always learning from their peers, from ongoing research and from developments in best practice. To support and honor this commitment to excellence — and to reinvest in the medical community — the MEDNAX Center for Research, Education, Quality and Safety (CREQS) is pleased to announce the launch of its cloud-based continuing education platform through CloudCME®. This new and improved online portal is designed to help physicians, advanced practice providers and other medical professionals across the country earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and nursing contact hours.

Education where and when it counts

MEDNAX’s first online education platform, Pediatrix University, was launched in 2000 to serve the needs of the neonatal community. Its course offerings expanded over time as the company evolved and as the educational needs of the medical community grew.

Today, thousands of health care providers worldwide take advantage of educational programs in a variety of specialties hosted by the MEDNAX CREQS. The number of clinicians nationally and internationally who participate in our programs is evidence of the depth and breadth of our clinical expertise and position as an industry leader.

The MEDNAX CREQS strives to enhance the quality and availability of continuing education through a combination of live conferences and online learning. With CloudCME, clinicians can search, filter and browse the complete array of MEDNAX CREQS opportunities to find the courses that best meet their needs and interests. These educational experiences include multi-day, multi-session, onsite meetings, such as NEO Conference or OB Challenges Conference, where participants spend concentrated time learning and fulfilling annual continuing education requirements. CloudCME is also the access point for live webinars and on-demand opportunities, such as NNP re-certification review and the opioid education series.

With the new cloud platform, users can:

  • View and print certificates immediately upon completion of an online activity
  • Access a full transcript to be used for annual CME/CNE requirements with the online tracking system
  • View and register for any upcoming live conference hosted by the MEDNAX CREQS access the online syllabus
  • Browse the online course offerings and filter searches by specialty or credit type
  • Download a mobile app for even more convenient access to everything CloudCME has to offer (Search the App store for “CloudCME”; the organization is “MEDNAX”)
